Orthopedic Surgery Centre
When you want to get a leg up
The Royal Alexandra Hospital will soon be home to Canada's first and only stand-alone orthopedic surgery centre. With four operating suites and more than 50 beds, the new Orthopedic Surgery Centre will perform more than 4,000 joint surgeries a year.
The facility will help lower wait times for hip and knee replacements, reduce cancellations for elective surgeries, and establish the Royal Alexandra as a leader in orthopedic care. The estimated completion date for the facility is 2010.
