Speaking of Health

Speaking of HealthThey say that a pound of prevention is worth an ounce of cure. We couldn't agree more. That is the idea behind Speaking of Health, a free public lecture series presented by the Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation. Featuring informative lectures from some of Canada's foremost health care experts, Speaking of Health offers people from all walks of life more information about their health and the best ways to take charge of it.

Watch for more information on the next Speaking of Health lecture series to be held in April 2012.


Important Information

Speaking of Health lectures are free to the public and take place from 7:00 - 9:00 PM in the Jean Hamilton Room of the Community Services Centre at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, located at 10415 111 Ave. Seating is limited and registration is on a first come, first serve basis. If a program you wish to attend is full at the time we receive your registration, we will contact you. Otherwise, please consider your registration confirmed.

Limited free public parking for Speaking of Health is available (between 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm only) on the north side of the Royal Alexandra Hospital campus at 111 Ave and 104 Street. We have worked to ensure adequate parking for the event, but parking may still be a challenge. If parking is unavailable in the North Public Lot, you may have to consider other parking locations on campus.
