They say that a pound of prevention is worth an ounce of cure. We couldn't agree more. That is the idea behind Speaking of Health, a free public lecture series presented by the Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation.
Featuring informative lectures from some of Canada's foremost health care experts, Speaking of Health offers people from all walks of life more information about their health and the best ways to take charge of it. Past topics have included Dealing With Diabetes, Sleep Apnea, Hip and Joint Surgery, Smoking Cessation and Heart Health and Medical Interventions for Morbid Obesity.

Speaking of Health: Important Information
These sessions are free to the public and take place from 7:00 - 9:00 pm at the Royal Alexandra Hospital gymnasium, located at 10415-111 Avenue.
Seating is limited and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. If a program you wish to attend is filled to capacity at the time we receive your registration, you will be notified. Otherwise, please consider your registration confirmed.
Please note that parking during the sessions is free. The orange arms to the parking lot located on the north side of Kingsway (on the far west side of the Royal Alexandra Hospital campus) will be raised during the session.
