The Royal Alexandra Hospital offers the only integrated specialized women's program in Alberta. The needs of women throughout their life cycle — pregnancy, menopause and beyond — are met through reproductive, obstetric and gynaecologic clinics and services located in various facilities in the hospital campus.

The Lois Hole Hospital for Women started to receive patients in May 2010. This modern new facility will strengthen the focus on Women's Health programs and services in the region. The new 128-bed hospital is considered a "hospital within a hospital", occupying five floors of the new seven-floor Robbins Pavilion.
