Join us in celebrating the Public School Boards’ Association of Alberta commitment to supporting women's health through their 22nd annual Lois E. Hole Dinner.

2024 marked the 22nd annual Lois E. Hole Dinner and silent auction, hosted by the Public School Boards’ Association of Alberta (PSBAA), in support of the Lois Hole Hospital for Women, coinciding with the PSBAA’s 35th anniversary. This milestone event showcased the incredible generosity and commitment of the PSBAA team, whose efforts have had a lasting impact on women’s healthcare. Their dedication to advancing women’s health continues to make a profound difference for the women and families who rely on the hospital’s care.

Through the funds raised by the teachers, educators, and supporters of the PSBAA, critical advancements in women’s healthcare have been made possible. Contributions have supported initiatives such as the expansion of cancer care at the Allard Hereditary Breast and Ovarian Cancer Clinic and the integration of groundbreaking technologies like the Da Vinci Robotic Surgical System. Thanks to these collective efforts, the Lois Hole Hospital for Women has strengthened its position as a national leader in women’s healthcare.

The event and subsequent cheque presentation to end 2024 served as a powerful reminder of the transformative effect of community. Educators, philanthropists, and supporters have come together to drive change, supporting innovative healthcare initiatives, and ensuring that women, at every stage of life, have access to the best possible care. The continued commitment of the PSBAA to this cause is deeply appreciated, and there is excitement for the future of what their support can bring.

“The generosity of educators like you—people who are dedicated to shaping futures in every sense—demonstrates the impact we can have on women’s health when we all lend a hand.” - Morrel Wax, Vice President of Philanthropy & Stakeholder Engagement, Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation

The Lois Hole Hospital for women extends a heartfelt thank you to the PSBAA, its members, and all who contributed to this remarkable event. The generosity demonstrated is helping to build a brighter, healthier future for the women of Alberta.
