The Edmonton Chamber of Commerce played host to many for-profit and not-for-profit businesses this past March in the hopes of building partnerships in the City of Edmonton.

The Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation representing the Lois Hole Hospital for Women was in attendance and spent the evening connecting with many businesses from many different industries in the city.

"THE EVENING WAS AN INCREDIBLE NIGHT OF NETWORKING FOR OUR TEAM" SAID NATALIE OZIPKO, BUSINESS ENGAGEMENT OFFICER, ROYAL ALEXANDRA HOSPITAL FOUNDATION. "IT WAS THE PERFECT OPPORTUNITY FOR OUR TEAM TO BUILD UPON PREVIOUSLY ESTABLISHED RELATIONSHIPS AND TO CREATE NEW ONES."

An event that began as a very small offering of tables for non-profit organizations quickly turned into a sold out event that required additional tables to be added, reported an Edmonton Chamber of Commerce representative. The mood in the room was electric with conversation buzzing and connections being made at every table. The chamber representative was extremely pleased with the turnout.

Beyond the businesses and non-profit organizations, provincial government representation was also present for the evening. MLA David Shepherd was in attendance for the evening and was making his rounds visiting many of the non-profit organizations in attendance. Mr. Shepherd's visit included a lengthy visit to the Lois Hole Hospital for Women table. The Foundation team welcomed Minister Shepherd and were proud to share the hospital's message of support for women of all ages and in all stages of life.

Overall the evening was a smashing success for the Foundation team with many new registrants to the monthly "Hope Notes" digital newsletter and many more connections made with local businesses by the Foundation team. The event is most certainly a standing commitment on the Foundation's future calendar of annual events to attend.
