These critical funds support the most urgent needs at the Lois Hole Hospital for Women, including the expansion of the Allard Hereditary Breast and Ovarian Cancer (HBOC) Clinic, which provides screening and support for women who are at high risk for developing breast and ovarian cancer. Watch the video below to hear how the Allard HBOC Clinic changed—and saved—the life of Christy Persaud. With more generous donations, we look to increase the clinic’s capacity and capabilities so that more women like Christy can find solace in knowing they have access to the right care, at the right time.  

Harvest Celebration 2024 is remembered by its captivating performances from Ariana Whitlow and A-List Entertainment, an indulgent four-course gourmet meal, inspiring stories of life-saving care, and for the first time ever, a speakeasy- themed after party featuring dueling pianos. The evening included a powerful speech from our CEO and President Sharlene Rutherford, recounting the vital importance of the mission of the Foundation and the strength of philanthropy in healthcare, inspiring donors to generously take us over $1,000,000—a new highwater mark for Harvest!

Guests were also asked to submit photos of the many exceptional women in their lives that were shown onscreen during a touching musical tribute to our mothers, daughters, friends, and loved ones.  

It is because of these women that we do what we do.

We want to extend a special thank you to our 2024 Harvest Hosts, Bhupinder and Dr. Saranjeev Lalh, Sherry and Collin Prince, Lisa and Dr. Jerrold Diamond, and Melanie and Dr. Thomas Nakatsui for elegant leadership throughout the evening and an unwavering dedication to our cause. 

Let us all be reminded of the incredible impact that we have when we come together to advance women’s health.
