The Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation is proud to share it has been named one of Alberta’s Top Employers for the 4th year in a row.
Successful employers are selected based on range of criteria such as work atmosphere, health, financial and family benefits, employee communication, training and skills development, equity, diversity and inclusion and more. With these categories in mind, employers are compared to peer organizations to determine which offer the most progressive and forward-thinking programs.
Our Foundation stood out because of our commitment to health and wellness for employees, our flexible benefits plan, and extensive maternity leave support.
We are proud of our collaborative culture that prioritizes employees’ passion and expertise. “The foundation is run by the people who are doing the work every day, and they have guidance and support from our leadership in a way that allows it to work really well,” says Morrel Wax, vice-president of fund development and stakeholder engagement. “From the bottom up, we want our staff to feel like they are a part of the change and the growth of the organization.”
