The Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation is continuing to grow, making further strides in our mission to support the Royal Alexandra Hospital in providing exceptional, life-saving care for all Albertans. As such, we are proud to welcome Scott Lister, CPA, as our first-ever Vice President, Operations. This exciting addition to our team will help open new avenues for providing support and funding for the Royal Alex, helping to ensure the hospital remains at the forefront of healthcare excellence in Canada. 

Scott joins with a wealth of experience that aligns perfectly with our foundation's goals and values. Prior to joining our team, Scott served as Director of Finance at the University Hospital Foundation, where he led full-cycle accounting, payroll, financial reporting, donation processing operations, and corporate services, including legal, insurance, contract management, and operational risk management. He brings over a decade of experience in finance and fundraising to the Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation, experience that will be invaluable as our foundation continues to grow and evolve. 

Scott has been a key partner in the Full House Lottery program, working closely with our finance, marketing, and communications teams. His leadership was instrumental in crisis management and the implementation of enhanced operational controls following a cybersecurity breach in 2017.
